SessKag Series: Control, Part 62 (Explicit)

This entry is part 62 of 227 in the series Control [Complete]

Kagome’s smile was still in place, but there was a flintiness in the curve of her lips, a chill in her aura that would have had Shippou scampering off and Inuyasha’s ears falling flat. Sesshoumaru merely inclined his head.

Not waiting for him to rise, she strode briskly past him toward the door, shooting Kanako a forbidding look as she started to slip down from her perch. Pushing through the noren curtain, Kagome stood for a moment on the wooden porch. Her eyes slid briefly shut, the warmth of the sun invigorating her. Sensing his presence at her back, she descended the steps without a backward glance.

“I know what you’re up to,” she said, the late summer breeze carrying her words behind her. “And it’s not going to work.”

“You mistake my intentions,” he replied as he followed her through the village. “I’d have brought a gift for you as well, if there was any chance of you accepting it.”

“I don’t want anything from you, Sesshoumaru.”

The demon lord made no reply.

As her home came into sight, Kagome looked back at him in estimation. “There’s something I need to make clear between us.”

The tone of her voice was low, dark. Between it and her hooded eyes, it came as little surprise when he pinned her to the wall the moment they crossed the threshold. Still, a shock of air burst from her lungs as her back hit the wooden boards. She’d forgotten just how swift and strong he was, but she kept her simmering reiki in check.

His claws bit into her upper arms, his amber eyes smoldering. “Tell me, Kagome, what was it you needed to make clear?”

Insinuation dripped from the end of that question. As Kagome’s vision adjusted to the hut’s shadowed interior, her grim smile returned.

“That you’re beneath me,” she said.

“I can be,” he rumbled.

Kagome’s stomach roiled as his claws slid down her arms, clasped the swell of her hips. She bit back a gasp when he hauled her to him, the spikes of his armor stabbing her in the chest. At her total lack of resistance, of anything, conflict warred through his expression.

“Damn it all,” he seethed, as if to himself, his eyes bleeding red as they narrowed upon hers. “I want you.”

One hand curved around her waist, his other wrenching open the neck of her haori. His fangs fell to her shoulder as he seized at her naked breast. When his tongue rasped along the side of her throat, she repressed a shudder, his ragged growl quaking through her.

“I need you.”

Kagome knew. She could feel it in the demonic currents stirring the air, in the dark heat of him against her. Even so she remained still, unresponsive. Even when his fangs scratched burning tracks along her skin, even when his knuckles closed like a vise around her puckered flesh.

Frustration edged his youki in jagged flames, the Beast in him raring for her to engage him further. Raring to be uncaged.

The time was close enough.

As his lengthened claws steered her face to his, the look of absolute loathing in her eyes arrested him.

“I hate it when you touch me,” she said, her voice cold and dead with sincerity. “Whenever you touch me, I think of all the girls you’ve killed, and it makes me sick inside.”

Inches away from hers, Sesshoumaru’s mouth descended in a frown. His fangs receded, the redness retreating from his eyes. As he released her, she tilted her head, considering.

“Take off your armor,” she said. “Your clothes, too.”

Warily, he complied. As the last of the silk left his body, she stared straight between his legs, with the same clinical coolness she’d study a worm—or any other unsightly thing. Despite the rancor of her rejection, his cock still stood at a stubborn half-mast. Kagome glanced away in disdain.

“Do you know what’s funny?” she said, a bitter smile twisting her lips as her gaze returned to his angelic face. “Before I found out the truth about you, I was starting to want you myself.” Hoarse and humorless, a bark of laughter escaped her. “Can you believe it?”

Sesshoumaru’s jaw clenched, his features drawn as he reached for her. “Kagome—”

Her fist shot out, connecting solidly with the corner of his mouth. Though there was no reiki behind it, Sesshoumaru staggered beneath the blow all the same.

“You don’t get to speak,” the miko hissed as he sank to his knees before her. “You don’t get to say anything to me. Because of you, I’m worse than a fool.” Her hands shook with irrepressible rage. “I could purify you a thousand times over.”

A thin line of blood ran from his bitten lip, his eyes following her with fevered intensity as she began to pace.

“I’ll bet you don’t even regret it, not really,” she muttered, drawing to a sudden, furious stop before him. “Do you?”

Staring stonily up at her, Sesshoumaru said, “No.”

“No,” Kagome repeated faintly. A hysterical grin twitched her lips before she dispelled it, pronouncing coolly, “Kneeling’s too good for you—get on all fours.”

Sesshoumaru glared. Yet still he eased forward onto his palms, the tips of his claws flexed against the floorboards. Kagome’s breath stilled at the sight of him prostrated, the rightness of it assailing her in a heady rush.

“You see,” she said in whispered triumph, “before me, you’re as low as an animal.” Her eyes flicked to his straining cock. “You can wait for me like an animal.”

Kagome,” he snarled, his tone as venomous as his glare.

Straightening her skewed haori, she turned and left the hut. A storm of youki and curses roared in her wake. Paying it no mind, the miko continued down the dirt path, where a young monk intercepted her—one of Miroku’s disciples.

“Kagome-sama!” the monk hailed, clutching at his ribs as he drew to a stop. “The mystics from Mount Senjou have arrived.”

Taking a moment to catch his breath, the young man paled at the malevolent aura emanating from Kagome’s home. Fearfully, his gaze cut to her.

“My brother-in-law is indisposed,” she said mildly before stepping past him. “Go and fetch the others, will you?”

Toward any other woman, there might have been hesitation—suspicion even—but the Shikon Miko was beyond reproach.

“Hai, Kagome-sama,” the monk uttered before setting off at her clipped command.

Expression steeled, Kagome made her way alone toward the sacred shrine.

  1. I think Kagome is playing with fire. While I know Sesshoumaru can be submissive, I don’t see him in that stance for very long. Soon he’ll take what he wants, what he”needs.” Plus, her loathing is more of herself than him- she still wants him. Belittling him makes her feel better about herself. Poor Kagome, you have way less power than you think.

    1. “playing with fire” is such a great way to put it 🙂

Love hearing your take, Nilee! Thanks!!

  2. “I can be”. Omg I love this so much – he’s such a perv. I waffle between wanting Kagome to triumph over him with her righteousness and him over her with his depravity. Thanks for the longer version!

    1. Ahh so glad you liked that line – and the longer version! 😉

      Thanks, Molly!!
