Woohoo it’s Friday, y’all!! 😊 Since I’m gearing up to write the epilogue to Transgressions this weekend, I thought now was as good a time as any to share the highlights from my Daily Transgressions playlist—arranged to loosely follow the emotional journey of our two beloved heroes!
From Kagome’s victorious rescue of Sesshoumaru to the mounting tension of their irresistible attraction, from their adventures in the north to the culmination of their passion, from the deepening of their feelings to the bitter aftermath of their misunderstandings, from Sesshoumaru’s terrible crime to his hard-earned redemption, and last of all, from the sadness of their parting to the joy of their loving reunion—here are the songs that helped me tell the story along the way:
Track 1 – My Name Is Human – Highly Suspect
Track 2 – Never Be The Same – Camila Cabello
Track 3 – Chemicals Between Us – Bush
Track 4 – Ordinary Life – The Weeknd
Track 5 – High Hopes – Panic! At the Disco
Track 6 – Hopeless Romantic – Wiz Khalifa
Track 7 – The Night Is Still Young – Nicki Minaj
Track 8 – Deep Inside of You – Third Eye Blind
Track 9 – Mine – Bazzi
Track 10 – November Was White, December Was Grey – Say Hi
Track 11 – I Feel Like I’m Drowning – Two Feet
Track 12 – LOVE – Kendrick Lamar
Track 13 – Heart Afire – Prophets of Rage
Track 14 – SAD! – XXXTentacion
Track 15 – Actual Pain – Good Charlotte
Track 16 – Ghost – Badflower
Track 17 – The Background – Third Eye Blind
Track 18 – How’s It Going To Be – Third Eye Blind
Track 19 – Better Now – Post Malone
Track 20 – Him & I – G-Easy & Halsey
Well, I must say, it’s been quite the trip! Looking forward to sending this story off right—with some beach time and fun in the sun for inspiration! 😊
Have a safe and wonderful weekend (long weekend, for those of you in the U.S.)! ‘Til Monday…
💕
Very interesting. That Bazzi song is driving me up the wall. They play it too often.
Lol I know what you mean…so many good songs get ruined by heavy rotation. At least where I live they haven’t played that song into the ground yet, but some stations are just so bad about that stuff!
Ooh so cool. Thanks so much for sharing. Looking forward to reading the epilogue when you’re able to write it!
Sure thing! <3 And yeah, working on the epilogue! - hoping to get it published this week! 🙂
