Kagome’s chest clenched at Sesshoumaru’s choice of words. She didn’t know properly how to take that, or even if she should.
Hand-in-hand, she followed him beneath the falls all the same. The iridescent spray pounded down on her head and shoulders, pleasurably warm and crisply fragrant. She heard a silvery sound as she passed, like the faint distant chiming of bells.
Maybe it was only in her imagination. Either way, she didn’t contemplate it for long. The secluded alcove behind the falls arrested her attention. Behind that silver-white veil of spray, the glittering granite walls glowed with flowering tufts of blue-green phosphorescent moss, whose blooms peeped out like pearly sunbursts.
“So pretty,” Kagome murmured, basking in the lovely, serene glow.
But she didn’t have long to contemplate this either, as Sesshoumaru pressed her back against the dappled stone and slanted his mouth against hers. Kagome opened her lips on a moan. She hadn’t realized how desperately she needed him inside her until his tongue was rasping over hers, ravishing her mouth so thoroughly she had the visceral impression he was laying claim to her in the truest and most primal sense. He withdrew from the seam of her lips only to to plunge back in again, surer and deeper than before.
Kagome sweltered in his hold. Her knees trembled, going weak even before he urged them apart with one of his own. He bent against her, bringing the head of his cock flush with her entrance. Even in the water, she was teeming for him. She was so slick for him that there was no question of her readiness for him. It was plain to them both. He took hold of her by the hips. He raised her thighs around him and breached her with such exquisite pressure that she screwed shut her eyes and threw her head back with a groan of pure relief.
Kagome’s perception of existence tunneled to the junction of their bodies. She’d never needed anything more in her life than she needed his cock inside her. Only when he seated himself to the hilt in her did she find the space to breathe again. Shallowly, she did. Shuddering, she snatched down a few breaths before he began to thrust, reaming her out to fit him to a tee. Hollowing her out just the way that she liked, just the way that she craved.
Her reiki stirred as he pounded against the threshold of her womb. His demonic aura flared to match hers. The dark, rippling heat of him inside her was almost too much for her to bear. She was coming apart around him before she even realized it—before it even seemed that he did. He growled against the side of her throat, like he’d wished that she had lasted longer.
But when her cries of rapture turned to whimpers, he brought his mouth to hers. In a clash of fangs and teeth, he kissed her as he rutted her to completion. She relished the feeling of growing desperation in him, the feeling of him losing himself inside her. His claws bit into her hind cheeks. His careful control splintered into animalistic abandon. Kagome clutched her arms around him, offering him the base of her neck which he took with his fangs as he spilled out into her, a searing flood that made her shiver and spasm afresh.
As Sesshoumaru’s panting subsided and his ragged youki smoothed, he drew back from her slightly. Hot blood trickled down her collar from the scars he’d reopened in the heat of his lust. His rough tongue scraped over them. As he salved over the punctures, Kagome buried her hands in his silky hair.
“You youkai,” she said huskily, giving his softening shaft a squeeze from within. “Your mating customs are so one-sided.”
“To the naked eye, perhaps.” Brushing his bloody lips against hers, Sesshoumaru drew her hand to his heart. “But you have left your mark on me, Kagome.”
