Kagome swallowed tightly. He was trying to force her to say it, to put into her own words the detestable acts he had perpetrated against her.

For his own sick satisfaction, no doubt.

“I’m not going to say it,” she whispered fiercely. “It’s reprehensible—you’re reprehensible.”

“You accuse me of nothing,” Sesshoumaru said, his lips curving with a derisiveness that made her dizzy with rage, “and yet continue to slander me. From my perspective, little sister, the one behaving reprehensibly is you.”

Kagome trembled, overcome. “Last night, you trespassed into my home. While I was unconscious, you violated me—”

“Is that what you call it?” Darkly, Sesshoumaru chuckled, closing the distance between them. “Sprawled out drunk and naked and stinking of arousal…” As Kagome stepped back from him, his form flickered—and she turned just in time to see the flash of his claws as they clasped her by the nape and steered her fuming face into his. “…The Shikon Miko,” he purred just above her lips, “a ready whore for the taking.”

Hot tears of pain burned in Kagome’s eyes. Her palm ripped open as she brought it hard and flaming across his sneering mouth. Sharply, Sesshoumaru swore. Cradling her bleeding fist to her chest, she staggered back from his broken grip.

“…Damn you,” she panted, her chest heaving through the hatred that threatened to stifle her from within. Beneath the simmering mockery, the rancor in his expression was unmistakable. “You got your payback, didn’t you, you arrogant bastard?—I hope it was everything you imagined it would be.”

“Payback.” Spitting out a busted fang, Sesshoumaru dashed a hand across his bloodied lips, glaring at her in vicious triumph. “You enjoyed it.”

Hysterically, Kagome laughed, the sound breaking from her like a curse. “Is that right?—and what about you, Sesshoumaru? Which part did you enjoy the most? Is it the part where I was riding your tongue like it was Inuyasha’s cock, or where I called you by his name when I was about to come?”

A riot of lust and fury stormed through the daiyoukai’s narrowing gaze. Any other person would have backed off, but Kagome advanced upon him instead, crushing her bloody palm to his mouth.

“Here’s another wet gash for you to fill,” she said wrathfully to him. “Go on, boy—lick it up.”

Sesshoumaru’s look was pure seething murder, but he was never one to back down from a challenge—no matter how homicidal. As Kagome held her searing hand against him, his tongue rasped harshly along the rend in her flesh, setting her exposed nerves aflame. Only sheer stubborn animosity kept her from crying out as he fused her skin back together stitch by painstaking stitch. When it was over at last, she drew her hand away, smiling in the face of his smoldering resentment.

“Not to your taste, Onii-san?” she asked him silkily, letting her fingers trail down his front as she stepped away. “Or maybe you only like gorging yourself on your dead brother’s scraps, you filthy, fucking dog.”

There was a chill shift in the air as Sesshoumaru smiled maliciously back. Another second, and he would have lunged for her, Kagome was certain—but before he could so much as tense a muscle, she pulled loose the ties of her hakama, letting the crimson fabric slither from her hips to the floor.
