Cue the spinning anime eyes—I’m once again all out of steam, folks. I think I need to try convincing my SO to let me be a stay-at-home girlfriend/full-time cat parent. Just think of all the time I’d have to write fanfic! Oh, what a dream…

Anyway! Until I can sell him on that, I’m just gonna keep having my personal projects/deadlines derailed by the whims of the software industry. 😢 Sigh…

But this isn’t *just* a whiny bitch-post: if you’re at all a fan of true PWP, there is a fic I found recently while trolling through Dokuga that absolutely blew my socks off! To be honest, I’m still reading it (savoring it more like 😉), but just thought I’d go ahead and share it with you all!

The fic I’m talking about is The Shoot by Dunkelgelb—and damn, can this guy write some steamy scenes! The fic isn’t yet complete, but since it’s not really so much about the *story*, you really shouldn’t let that stop you from digging in. That said, the premise is a super kinky one: Just imagine the cast of Inuyasha as porn stars (and Sesshoumaru as the king of porn stars), and there you have it!

Not much of a stretch if you ask me 😉

On top of the author’s sheer smutty vocabulary, which is among the most extensive I’ve seen in fanfic and beyond, his writing style is smooth and technically flawless! Like I said, the story’s not over and seems to be updated rather sporadically, but the chapters out there for us to enjoy are long and—dare I say it?—meaty. 😈

So check it out if you’re in the mood for something light on the plot and heavy on the action! ‘Til tomorrow, friends…

  1. First thing I saw when I opened my email was ‘if you like porn…’ and I knew it was gonna be a suggestion of something to read and I wasn’t disappointed.
    I have read and loved every hot and steamy detail in “The Shoot.” *cold showers all around*

  4. Not my cup of tea unfortunately since it had him boning an adult Rin, Kikyo and Sango.

    I don’t like fics that pair Sesshoumaru with Rin. I don’t care if she is an adult in the story. I cannot get the image of cannon Rin out of my head. It is already hard for me to accept him with Kikyo and Sango.

    1. yeahh to be honest I wasn’t crazy about that part of the story – luckily it was only 1 scene so I was able to get past it! The author’s sheer writing prowess carried me through haha

      Also hard for me to visualize Sess paired with anyone but Kagome. I feel like Sess x Sango is a very distant second to me.

      1. im the same as doug, lol. funny how im such a monogame even on fanfiction, haha. i can only stand a past inukag. and please, let rin have her caretaker/tutor/whatever you call it relationship with sesshoumaru! it gives them both more neccesary depth and grow.

  5. I do enjoy PWP on occasion so I will happily check this out, thanks for the rec 😉

    I’m still lurking btw, scanning your Control updates, I can tell it’s the sort of fic I kind of need to know an ending before I let myself really get sucked into it. It’s super intriguing and mysterious (especially with your stellar writing, Char) but I’m just not good at dealing with suspense and violence in my reading material if there’s no conclusion I can read to make sure things turn out ok or at least the antagonist is stopped. ❤
